Tom Hakel

Ryan Vice, has over 20 years of leadership experience in corporate finance, accounting and business development. Ryan’s experience includes positions as a CFO and Controller for both private and public companies. He has been in leadership positions as these companies experienced rapid revenue growth and has a broad range of experience, including mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, financing strategies, strategic planning and real estate investments. He is also a co- founder, Broker and owner of a real estate company specializing in investment properties and commercial property management. Ryan is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and also a Real Estate Broker licensed by the California Department of Real Estate and a member of the National Association of Realtors. Ryan earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from California State University, Sacramento..

Tom Hakel Biography

Tom Hakel

Tom has been successfully founding, growing, restructuring, advising, merging and selling enterprises in the fields of telecommunications, technology, wine and financial services for over 20 years.

Tom leads the M&A and financing advisory services for Sierra Pacific Advisors. Over the past 2 years, he helped lead the financing of Active Mind Technology, a wearables company in the golf sector, through its $15mm+ Series A financing (www.gamegolf.com). Tom has also led the sale of four other companies in the technology and services sectors.

Tom also has broad operations experience. He served as the general manager of Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars in Napa, CA. In addition to his duties running the winery, Tom was also the financial consultant to the Winiarski family and was the principal lead in the development of the offering memorandum and the sale of the winery to Michelle-Antinori (www.cask23.com) for $185mm. Tom was the CEO and co-founder of GoldMail (now PointAcross) (www.pointacross.com), an audio-visual messaging service that established a new Internet communications category for email and social media.

Tom’s foundational business skills are in the area of finance and valuations. He worked for four years in the financial services consulting practice of KPMG Peat Marwick in San Francisco. Tom is a graduate of Sonoma State University with a degree in Computer Science and was also a Certified Public Accountant in the State of California.
